The Prophet ﷺ said: “My Companions are like the stars; whichever of them you follow, you will be rightly guided.

[ibn ‘Abbas, al-Madkhal of Bayhaqi]

The young Muslim in the West has an identity crisis; many put their social identity or cultural identity over their Islamic identity. From home to school to the masjid, they are forced to put on a different hat for each social environment.

These identities are within a hierarchy that is dependent on which social group is the strongest. Without a consistent, welcoming environment with good companionship and mentorship, we can begin to see why our young Muslims are losing their Iman and building resentment for Islam.

Your child needs to see how they can excel in all three spheres of their life through Islam, the perfect way of life.
Our goal is to provide the perfect environment for your child to grow by making them feel competent, included, and inspired to become an MVP.

The MVP Method:

‘ILM

Islamic Instruction: learning their Deen in a relevant and practical way through a structured curriculum divided into three modules: The Self, The Creator, and The Creation.

‘AMAL

MVP Missions: acting on what they learn through engaging group activities with the guidance of their mentor. MVP Missions will act as rites of passage and are required to graduate.

SUHBAH

Good Companionship: facilitating life-long brotherhood and sisterhood with fellow MVP’s that make them feel welcomed and cared for.

TARBIYAH

Personal Mentorship: being nurtured by a role model whose role model is a Sahabah, upon whose shoulders this Deen stood. Mentors will have taken Visionaries Leadership Academy and a course on Prophetic Character.
